pgu9oQ26Rc2Pt7qMgauk2Q_thumb_5a0eDr. Christine Cloar is a prominent voice in Special Needs Leadership and serves as the Senior Vice President for Education and co-founder of UnFinished International – a nonprofit organization which seeks to restore hope to children in impoverished areas with special needs and disabilities, their families, and society through education, empowerment, sustainability, development, and love.

Dr. Christine Cloar is a co-founder and managing partner of Rogers Cloar Associates, LLC. Dr. Cloar was a Special Education Coordinator at KIPP Houston Public Schools. During that time Dr. Cloar was responsible for managing all elementary school special education programming including driving compliance, providing support at IEP, monitoring special education students’ academic progress, supervising 14 SPED personnel, and monitoring all contract service providers in service delivery. She also supported teachers with students that struggle by building strong partnerships with key constituents, assisting with targeted academic and behavioral intervention plans, observing students and coaching teachers, and attending relevant grade level, department, and leadership meetings to act as a support, resource, and supervisor where need be.

Dr. Cloar provided leadership and partnership with teachers, coordinating the referral process, holding staff accountable to action steps decided on in ARD meetings and documenting all programming. Dr. Cloar is a member of TCASE (Texas Council of Administrators of Special Education, Inc. TCASE is an organization that that inspires and empowers special education professionals.

An international speaker, blogger, and humanitarian, Dr. Cloar received a bachelor’s degree in communication from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK. In 2011, Dr. Cloar continued her pursuit of education and earned a Master of in Education, Specialization in Education Diagnostician at Houston Baptist University. In 2018, Dr. Cloar earned a PhD in Education, Specialization in Special Education Leadership from Capella University.
